ARGONAUT + JASON is a PPK solution for drones. It provides decimetric geo-location accuracy, that translates into resulting orthomosaics with horizontal errors < 5cm (RMSE). The solution consists in two parts (that can work independently of each other, though they achieve optimal performance when combined):
-  ARGONAUT Rx : GNSS chipset + IMU + data logger + external event detector;  ARGONAUT Rx has been specially designed to outstand in several aspects its similar devices (better SNR, real multi-constellation, synchronisation input pin…) and its fully compatible with Pixhawk (v1 and v2), being at the same time navigation and payload GNSS. **Price tag (unitary, for many units ask for quotation) :** **350€ (our commercial policy is: if you are not satisfied after 1 month you send us back the device and you are completely refunded)** -  [JASON](https://paas.rokubun.cat/) PaaS (Positioning-as-a-Service): Is a cloud GNSS processing service relying on a database of more than 10000 reference stations. Upload the flight data to improve geo-location accuracy by an order of magnitude (by PPK or PPP), delivering accurate trajectory and time-tagged events precise information (geotagging, attitude and time-stamp). **No base station is needed** when in our service coverage zone. Alternatively if you have  base station data our service will perform PPK seamlessly. In case no precise processing can be applied to your data, you won’t be charged for the processing. **Price: pay per use, you only pay for what you use it, with no fixed monthly fee. ** (price per processing/flight starting at 4.99€/processing for more than 25 monthly processings). **ARGONAUT owners will have a 1 year service free of charge**.

The geolocation precision required for professional photogrammetry, mapping and topographic surveys is of high demand, but until now only the expensive overly complex devices could provide satisfying results. To meet that need, we have designed the combination of ARGONAUT receiver + JASON PaaS to be precise enough to offer accuracy of less than 40 cm, a factor of 5 improvement over the standard error of the industry of 2,0 m.

To facilitate the gathering of the geolocation data in the first place, we have designed the ARGONAUT receiver to be plug-and-play and compact enough to be mounted with ease on any drone model or vehicle.

The combination ARGONAUT Rx + JASON PaaS goes well beyond PPK in terms of functionality – the PaaS automatically fetches the closest ground base station or alternatively it can use one that you have provided, to perform various differential algorithms and deliver optimal results.
